Transmission Operations of TATA Power in Mumbai License Area is spread over the entire city of Mumbai and its suburbs, with more than 1,264 Ckt. km of transmission network to meet the ever-growing power needs of Mumbai and in helping the city to achieve and retain its premium status of the commercial capital of India.

The entire transmission system is centrally controlled from Power System Control Centre (PSCC) through the state-of-the-art unified SCADA system.

Powerlinks Transmission Limited

Powerlinks Transmission Limited (PTL) is a joint venture between The TATA Power Company Limited (51%) and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (49%). The company has a rich experience & knowledge in the construction of double circuit transmission lines (2332 Ckt. km) from Siliguri in West Bengal via Bihar to Mandola in Uttar Pradesh. It is the testimony of a pioneering Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) in the transmission sector in India benefitting West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Sikkim, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Delhi.

NRSS XXXVI Transmission Limited

NRSS XXXVI transmission Limited is acquired by Resurgent Power Ventures Pte Ltd (Resurgent) which is co-sponsored by Tata Power and ICICI Bank and has other global reputed institutional investors. It was an acquisition of stressed assets in the Indian Power Sector of System Strengthening Scheme which includes three elements consisting of a total length of 153-Km transmission line spread across the states of Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Haryana.
